Mitt Romney's political action committee today doled out more money to Florida members of Congress -- and has now given to every freshman Republican in the state -- save one: David Rivera.
The potential GOP presidential contender's Free and Strong America PAC today gave $2,000 a piece to Rivera's fellow freshmen, Allen West, Dan Webster and Steve Southerland. It earlier gave to frosh GOP'ers Sandy Adams, Dennis Ross and Rich Nugent and said Thursday it's "setting a furious pace as it seeks to build on GOP gains from the 2010 midterm elections."
Asked about Rivera, who has weathered earlier snubs and whose finances are under criminal investigation, the PAC says there are more announcements to come, but won't comment on who gets or doesn't get support.
Rivera backed Mike Huckabee in 2008 for president; as did Marco Rubio who earlier this month got $2,500 from Romney's PAC.
