The Senate just voted 33-6 to pass its budget. Republicans and a few Dems said it was the best they could do without raising taxes. Democrats and a few Reps said the Senate leadership should have found more revenue by closing tax "loopholes." Debate tidbits forthcoming.

a no new taxes budget getting bipartisan support? never thought i would see the day.

Yeah, pretty impressive. Good work by Haridopolos and his team on that to get cross the aisle support for a very conservative budget.
