Marco Rubio had words of praise today for President Barack Obama's handling of the capture and death of Osama Bin Laden.
The Miami Republican opened a press conference in Miami with a compliment for the administration's work: "I want to take this opportunity, first of all, to congratulate the president and his national security team for a job well done," Rubio said. "It took a high level of confidence and a significant level of guts to carry out that mission." He noted that as further details of the mission emerge, "you'll be similarly impressed with the president and his national security team."
He noted it was "important to remember the Bush administration and the decisions made under President Bush that began this process and brought us to this point. Last night was a culmination of years of hard work and sacrifice and difficult decsions, many of which started under the presidency of George Bush."
Members of the House and Senate intelligence panels were briefed before the mission. Rubio said he was "comfortable with the level of information that the administration shared."

Enhanced interrogation of KSM turning over the name of Bin Ladens courier is what led to this. All you anti-waterboarding idiots need to realize the security of this country is jeopardized when the President can't authorized rough interrogation techniques of terrorists.

Marshall, get your facts right. The informations was not extracted under torture, (even Cheny acknowledged that yesterday) it was obtained under regular interrogation by the CIA. Actually, when the interrogator showed interest for his family and treated him as a human being we got the info. Experts fro, interrogation teams already expressed doubt of any information obtained under torture because the persone would say whatever to ease the pain, being that true or not. We prosecuted Japanese for water-boarding. our defense of torture is very troubling to say the least.
