Politico reports that a dozen of George LeMieux's former GOP Senate colleagues will throw a fundraiser for the GOP hopeful later this month.
They include Sens. Roy Blunt, Richard Burr, Saxby Chambliss, Susan Collins, Mike Crapo, Chuck Grassley, Johnny Isakson, Mike Johanns, John McCain, Lisa Murkowski, Jim Risch and Pat Roberts.
It's $250-minimum a person and $1,000 for political action committees. Hosts have raised or contributed $2,500, according to the invite provided to POLITICO.
The site notes "LeMieux reaps the financial benefit of being a former member, but events like these will also likely leave him having to fend off the label of 'the candidate of the Washington insiders.' "
Looking at the gang of RINOS that are going to help LeMieux has convinced me I won't vote for him......
