Gov. Rick Scott is defending his decision to sign a bill into law requiring drug tests for some welfare recipients by saying that people who get welfare are more likely to be on drugs. “Studies show that people that are on welfare are higher users of drugs than people not on welfare,” Scott said during a June 5 appearance on CNN.
Scott went further later in the interview, claiming drug use by welfare recipients was “much higher.”

And those not on welfare steal from MEDICARE.
I'll take the druggies!!!

What about the corporate junkies that use drugs and mishandle corporate funding? This is a bold statement for Gov. Scott to make.
