Allen West: 'I’m the guy that got off (liberals') 21st century plantation."

Allen West is blogger gold. We could spend an entire day (actually we already did) about all the newsworthy stuff he says ("Debbie... you're vile, despicable...." Obama supporters are a "threat to the gene pool.").

And so it went last night with the Broward Republican, who appeared on conservative talk radio Mark Levin's show last night to talk about race, the roots of his spat with fellow Broward Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz and the culture of Washington, which the freshman said "is worse than I thought."

West: "How does an honorable person survive in Washington D.C. and Capitol Hill, which is seemingly becoming a very dishonorable environment, where people continue to perpetuate the problems that this country faces, where you have people who are very comfortable with lying. The thing that really most aggravates me is that there's this double standard in that the people on the hard left can continue to attack conservatives -- and especially minority conservatives and female conservatives. But yet when all of a sudden you stand up and say you will not tolerate this any more, then they claim to be a victim, which I find to be absoultely laughable...

"We always seem to operate in crisis action mode instead of a deliberate planning mode and really come up with principle approaches and viable solutions, such as cut cap and balance...This is not how we have the means by which we rectify the problems that."

Levin: If you were liberal and Wasserman Schultz was a conservative, people would accuse her of racism....

West: "Think about what John Stewart said about Hermann Cain -- the remark he does not want to read. People who are black conservatives — I grew up in the inner city, strong values, came from a strong military family and background — (and) what we do is we totally invalidate the liberal social welfare policies and programs...

“I’m a threat because I’m the guy that got off of their 21st Century plantation. And they cannot afford to have a strong voice such as mine out there reverberating and resonating across this country. And even more so, they’re not used to anyone that says ‘I’m going to fight back against you.’ That is absolutely reprehensible to them. And that's why all of a sudden you have about four or five different websites that went up today saying that Allen West hates women, which having been married for 22 years to a woman with an MBA and a PHd and having two beautiful daughters, that to me is the epitome of the falsification of the truth"

Just because you are married and have daughters does not mean that you do not think women should be subservient to men. Ah it kind of harkens back to a bygone era when men were men...
Allen West's broken logic continues to fail him.
You got off the 21st century plantation and now hang around with old white rich dudes saying what they want to hear from a black man so they will open their wallets. You may have left the plantation but you did not help anyone else off of it, and damn those that are still there by placating to the foibles of the rich. You are more like the overseer on a 21st century plantation, doing the repressive bidding of the slave owners for your own comfort.
You made the analogy first not me.

Yet the liberals don't help the slaves to the welfare state off the plantation. Rather they want to keep them there, totally dependent on federal spending, so they'll be loyal little voters for the liberal spending machine.

Osama-Obama-Yo Mama

Lyndon Johnson once said of his "Great Society" welfare plan: "I'll have them n****** voting Democrat for the next 200 years." Typical Democrat viewpoint...

The AG boys, you know the group, the ones who say

"we use to own'em, now we just rent'em,"..they have to be cheering on DWS to put the boy in his place.....

Don't forget how Allen West tortured a bound captive. What a tough, TOUGH man to torture someone with their hands bound. Or are those the actions of a coward and a bully. Yes, West should show Wasserman what's what if he could. How he would love to have her bound hand and foot while he pulls on his rubber gloves and loads his gun. He will show them all!

stephen

I notice that Mr West never accused Mrs Wasserman Schultz of being a liar. He called her everything but that. Confuse them oldsters with your rhetoric Mr.West.

Greg

Glad that he's finally sticking up for himself. As soon as someone goes against the establishment, the status quo'ers go bezerk. If it were the other way around, you would all be cheering. Statist hypocrites.

Kabuki theater to raise funds. That's what it's all about. That's what his last letter was about. Why did he send 2 emails? One to her and a BBC to the news.

The letter is from a BULLY, that's all.

He ain't ready for prime time.

He is an amateur living on his own planet.
Civility matters. He can disagree without being an ass.

To Marie:

Are you on drugs? do you realize the shenanigans that West has already been up to and he's only been in office for months? Do you realize he went to meet with the Broward Mayor lobbying for taxpayers funds to renovate the Bank Atlantic Center which is privately held? And that he refused to sign himself in hoping to cover up the visit? Is this the kind of representative you want? And when you reach retirement age, I really wonder how you'll view all of those social programs like social security and medicare.....

ALL "CARDS" ARE OFF THE TABLE. In the beginning of the article Rep. West is accused of being a misogynist with no counter-attacks, but when he claims he's a victim, there's contention from the Miami Herald and Stockholm Syndrome Black Voices Staff of AOL. Until Blackmales can use a card, no one has a viable card to use/claim. There's no "homophobia, antiSemitism, dead-beat dads, bullies, reverse racism, domestic abusers, etc. The ex-enslaving media tries to brainwash and fool the punk public to their beckon call.

I find it telling in the extreme that West ran not once, but twice for this seat, first in 2008, and in the four years since announcing his intentions to run for the seat, he still has no intentions of moving into the district he represents.
In fact, Allen West is not represented in the House by Allen West, but instead represented by the very same Debbie Wasserman Schultz that he's whining about. That's right, West STILL lives in Plantation, not Boca and not Coral Springs! Call his office and they'll tell you this is legal. They'll also tell you that West is honorable, as he constantly tells us. He isn't. An honorable ex-lieutenant colonel would never behave like this, he would have moved to the district first, and then run. Instead, the excuse given by West's office is that he's still waiting for the gerrymandering, I mean redistricting of his district so that he knows where to move.
West is a punk who doesn't understand that he doesn't have any seniority in Congress and his former rank means jack squat. In Congress, he's nothing more than a buck private, an extremely arrogant punk who doesn't have the brains to know when to shut up and accept the orders his constituents are sending him, starting with leaving Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and "Obamacare" alone.
