Amy Graham promoted inside Gov. Scott's office

Amy Graham has started as deputy communications director in Gov. Rick Scott's executive office. She takes over the role left by Brian Hughes, who is now Republican Party of Florida communications director.

Graham, 25, joined Scott during the transition and had worked as his traveling press secretary. She'll earn $71,000 in the new job.

Prior to joining Scott, the Port St. Lucie native was press secretary at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and worked in the press office of former Gov. Jeb Bush. She is a magna cum laude graduate of the Florida State University College of Communication and has a master’s degree in Applied American Politics and Policy.

I had no idea she had such a resume. Met her a couple of times and wish her all the best.
