The Florida Family Policy Council and Central Florida Tea Party have announced a GOP U.S. Senate debate next month in Orlando.
Adam Hasner, George LeMieux, Mike McCalister and Craig Miller will particpate in the Aug. 20 event at Howard Middle School. The 10 a.m.-noon debate "will feature social issues asked by a panel of social conservative activists and economic issues asked by a panel of local tea party activists," according to a release from the Florida Family Policy Council.
The event, which is open to the public, will be the first debate since Mike Haridopolos dropped out of the field. And the first one for Miller, who joined the race last week. And the first one since the very first debate in St. Petersburg last month.
