Jennifer Gottlieb says she resigned to spend more time with family

In a resignation letter she sent Gov. Rick Scott on Friday, former Broward School Board member Jennifer Gottlieb said she was leaving the board to spend more time with her husband and two sons.

"Over the summer, it became increasingly apparent to me how much this position interfered with my commitment to my family, especially now that both of our sons are in middle school," she wrote.
