Florida House Speaker Dean Cannon is in California today, providing Texas Gov. Rick Perry support in tonight's GOP presidential candidate debate. He'll be in the "spin room" at the debate, providing analysis of Perry's performance and policies.
"Speaker Cannon is supporting Gov. Perry for president and the governor asked him to be there," Katie Betta, a spokesman for Cannon said on Wednesday.
Cannon also traveled to Austin late last month for a group dinner with Perry on the day he announced his endorsement.
Cannon must be jockeying for a place in Perry's govt.....getting his bid in before Perry chooses a few illegal aliens to join him in the WH if he wins so he doesn't lose the feel of being in TX...
