Florida reschedules Valle execution for Sept. 28

Florida Gov. Rick Scott has rescheduled the execution of Manuel Valle for 4 p.m. Sept. 28.

This is the third time the state has set a date for Valle to by executed by lethal injection for shooting and killing Coral Gables Police Officer Louis Pena in 1978. The courts have twice delayed the execution. The most recent stay was lifted last week.
