Buss's chief of staff is now on his way out under new prisons chief

Another prison shoe drops: Buss' No. 2, Ronay is out

It was only a matter of time. "Chief" Dan Ronay, who was former Corrections Secretary Ed Buss' most trusted advisor, chief of staff and deputy secretary, tendered his "resignation" to prisons chief Ken Tucker late Wednesday. Ronay, who served in a similar capacity under Buss when the two men ran the Indiana prison system, is an Iraq war veteran and career military man who had worked for the agency since last February.

In March, a wing of the Indiana Department of Corrections' museum was dedicated in Ronay's name. No replacement for Ronay has yet been announced.
