Miami Sen. Anitere Flores and Dustin Anderson announced the arrival Lucas Ignacio born at 10:50 a.m. this morning at Miami's Mercy Hospital. He weighed in at 8 lbs. 5 oz.,20 inches long. The couple's first child is Maximo.
Flores, a Republican, has been excused by the Senate president for her committee meeting duties for the month.
