Herman Cain's risky Sharon Bialek-bashing, part 2

 Herman Cain pledged to tackle "head on" Sharon Bialek's sex-harassment allegations. In doing so, his campaign has issued its second statement raising questions about her credibility. While that would be par for the course in disputes of this nature, Cain is a frontrunner for the presidency. And it's rare to see a campaign actively engaging in this level of confrontation.

Normally, it's left up to surrogates. There's a reason for that: Cases like this are a lose-lose for the accuser and the accused in politics (and probably in life in general). There's often a partisan split between who believes what. But there's also a tendency for a gender divide, which could open up and dog the candidate. Also, the more you fight fire with fire, the more it burns up your campaign, which had labelled these allegations as a distraction less than a day ago.

But Cain's campaign prides itself on being unorthodox. What it might not realize is that orthodoxy exists for a reason.

Who is Sharon Bialek?

As Ms. Sharon Bialek has placed herself in the public spotlight through making patently false allegations against Herman Cain, it is only fair to compare her track record alongside Mr. Cain’s.

In stark contrast to Mr. Cain’s four decades spent climbing the corporate ladder rising to the level of CEO at multiple successful business enterprises, Ms. Bialek has taken a far different path.

The fact is that Ms. Bialek has had a long and troubled history, from the courts to personal finances – which may help explain why she has come forward 14 years after an alleged incident with Mr. Cain, powered by celebrity attorney and long term Democrat donor Gloria Allred.

In the courts, Ms. Bialek has had a lengthy record in the Cook County Court system over various civil lawsuits. The following cases on file in Cook County are:

·         2000-M1-707461 Defendant against Broadcare Management
·         2000-M1-714398 Defendant in lawsuit against Broadcare Management
·         2000-M1-701522 Defendant in lawsuit against Broadcare Management
·         2005-M1-111072 Defendant in lawsuit against Mr. Mark Beatovic.
·         2007-M1-189176 Defendant in lawsuit against Midland Funding.
·         2009-M1-158826 Defendant in lawsuit against Illinois Lending.

Ms. Bialek was also sued in 1999 over a paternity matter according to ABC 7 Chicago (WLS-TV).  Source: WLS-TV, November 7, 2011.

In personal finances, PACER (Federal Court) records show that Ms. Bialek has filed for bankruptcy in the Northern District of Illinois bankruptcy court in 1991 and 2001. The respective case numbers according to the PACER system are 1:01-bk-22664 and 1:91-bk-23273.

Curiously, if Ms. Bialek had intended to take legal action, the statute of limitations would have passed a decade ago. 

Which brings up the question of why she would make such reprehensible statements now?

The questions should be – who is financing her legal team, have any media agreed to pay for her story, and has she been offered employment for taking these actions?

I was sexually harassed by the head of my dept. in a DC-area firm in 1993. He gave me shoulder massages in the office and put his hands on me multiple times, and I asked him to stop. I was also told that I did not behave like one of the guys by the supervisor because I did not go out drinking with them like my female manager. I told the man that I was a married woman and went home to my husband. I got physically sick at my job and ultimately quit. I then went to several attorneys, who said that they could not take pro bono as there was little likelihood I would win, given the he-said, she-said nature of the case. I then filed with the EEOC. The company hired a top DC law firm, claimed I was fired (I had quit), that I was pretty much a crazy person who carried on in the office (I was not). I was devastated when I read what their response was. They won. I lost.

Then, they fired the guy. Turned out, he had done the same thing to someone else but they did not want to pay out settlements.

Since then, I have divorced my husband and am a single parent who, like many single parents, has had financial difficulties.

I do not use Herman Cain's teardown of the accuser as proof that she was not harassed. Instead, I see what happened to me and think, if that is the best they got, tearing her up when she has nothing to gain from this, then I believe he did what they claim.

I hope the other women have the courage to come forward with their names. I believe Herman Cain is not an ethical person and takes advantage of his underlings. Furthermore, he knows so little of the world that he would not be good in diplomacy.

This woman is a known con artist. Her whole story doesn't physically make sense. Try to reach over and stick your hand up a skirt of a closed leg passenger and then with the other hand push a head down towards you. It just doesn't work. She has sued her previous employer WGN for harassment as well. This is her 15 minutes of fame...that is all.

The R's have not yet determined that Cain is only the "flavor du jour" and as a result are backing him with all the ferocity of a pimp backing one of his ho's. While his campaign raises legitimate assertions Ms. Bialek is a liberal doing this in order to attack their man, the greater likelihood is Ms. Allred is behind it with her insatiable need for publicity (she's the family law equivalent of mass torts). One day soon, the R's will tire of Cain and send him packing. Whether the reason for their tiredness is the truth of the allegations of sexual harassment or they simply realize he's not their Black Savior will be interesting to learn.

Raising these allegations 14 years after they happened and long after the statute of limitations have passed.
I know a hatchet job when I see one.

Clinton ejaculated over a college intern 30 years his senior and used a cigar as a dildo and people still love him.

The allegations against Cain don't exactly stack up factually or even seriously against th s**t that Clinton pulled.

What really happening here is that the Democratic Machine is freaking out that a Conservation Black Republican is leading in the polls. He's more black than Obama and he's Republican. They will do anything to bring this guy down and stop him getting the nomination.
