Roaming bands of videographers have been seen in very odd places in the Florida Capitol. Elected officials have been secreting costumes into work. Steve Bousquet, Dara Kam and Ruth Herrle have been reported singing loudly in the shower.
This must mean one thing: It's time for the 57th (Sometimes) Annual Capital Press Corps Skits. Tickets are still available here: http://www.capitolpresscorpsskits.com/
The cost is $30 at The Moon in Tallahassee. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.
Photo is from the 1987 press skits, from the Florida Memory project's Donn Dughi collection. For a bit of a look back at why this annual faltering production manages to have such staying power, take a look at former Tallahassee Press Corps member Brian Crowley's write up last year.
