U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio traveled to Haiti Monday morning on an official visit to meet with government leaders, including Haitian President Michel Martelly.
The purpose of the trip, according to Rubio's office, is "to discuss issues of national interest with local and U.S. government officials in Haiti and to assess the state of affairs there two years after the devastating earthquake." Rubio will also meet with Haiti's prime minister, private sector leaders and non-profit organizations.
Rubio is a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and the top Republican in the Western Hemisphere subcommittee.

Marcocito is again practicing the tactic his mentor, JEB! used so well when hurricanes devastated parts of Florida in 2004-05. Show up where there are piles of rubble surrounded by a massive news crew, shake some hands, hug a few photogenic people and promise to bring them immediate help to rebuild. JEB! never came back or brought any help and neither will Marcocito.

other vs. Cubans: Is There A Double Standard On Illegal Aliens?
Seems like a double standard. If you come from Cuba you are granted automatic residency, but if you come from other countries you need to have the proper documentation

Haitians have a rock solid work ethic and due to the color of their skin are given no breaks at all. Even the charity millions sent after the earthquake were stolen by corrupt leaders. Total double standard when compared to the other economic refugees I.e. Venezuelans and Cubans.
