The Florida Republican party's state executive committee today re-elected Sharon Day as Florida's national committeewoman and elected attorney Peter Feamon of Palm Beach County as national committeeman, replacing longtime national committeeman Paul Senft of Haines City.

Feaman has served as the State Committeeman for the Palm Beach County Republican Executive Committee since 2004. He also has served on the Executive Board of the Republican Party of Florida since 2005 and as RPOF Chairman of the State Committeeman/woman’s Caucus since 2009

“During his service at the state and local level, Peter has proven his dedication to this Party and to spreading the conservative message. I look forward to working more closely with him in the future and trust that he will look out for the best interest of Florida Republicans at the national level,” said RPOF Chairman Lenny Curry. “I congratulate both Sharon and Peter on their elections today.

Day has served as the State Committeewoman of the Broward County Republican Executive Committee since 1996 and was first elected Florida’s National Committeewoman in 2004. From 2009-2011, Day served as Secretary of the Republican National Committee and was elected Co-Chair of the RNC in January 2011.
