With Sandy Adams endorsement, Mitt Romney one away from securing majority support of FL's GOP Reps

If Florida's Republican congressional delegation was responsible for choosing the party's presidential nominee, Mitt Romney would be one vote away from winning now that he scored his ninth Congressional endorsement in Florida: Sandy Adams.

Individually, the endorsements don't mean much. But together, they're lagging indicators of Romney's broad base of support in Florida. Representatives know their constituents and reflect them as often as they lead them.

The Romney Reps:

Rep. Jeff Miller (R FL-1)
Rep. Ander Crenshaw (R FL-4)
Rep. John L. Mica (R FL-7)
Rep. Vern Buchanan (R FL-13)
Rep. Connie Mack (R FL-14)
Rep. Tom Rooney (R FL-16)
Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R FL-18)
Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart (R FL-21)

Rep. David Rivera has endorsed Newt Gingrich. So that leaves the following 9 unaccounted for

Rep. Bill Posey (R FL-15)
Rep. Dennis Ross (R FL-12)
Rep. Gus Bilirakis (R FL-9)
Rep. C. W. Bill Young (R FL-10)
Rep. Steve Southerland (R FL-2)
Rep. Daniel Webster (R FL-8)
Rep. Clifford B. Stearns (R FL-6)
Rep. Rich Nugent (R FL-5)
Rep. Allen West (R FL-22)
