When President Obama comes to town Thursday, he'll be picking up truckloads of cash for his campaign (background here). But, wait! It's an official visit as well. The president plans to speak Thursday afternoon/evening to discuss what one official says is a "blueprint for an economy built to last."
One side benefit of the official speech: Travel is official. So taxpayers will help subsidize the fundraising bonanza.
