Republican Senate race frontrunner Connie Mack got a moment in the conservative spotlight Friday at the American Conservative Union's CPAC event. Before that, Mack was all over CNN and did a few radio spots. All of it adds up to more priceless free-media exposure for the Fort Myers congressman.
Mack's speech revolved around the need for a balanced budget and his Penny Plan proposal to trim a cent from every federal dollar to balance the budget. (Background here).
