Floridians For A Fair Economy, including United Health Care Workers East union members fill the fourth floor rotunda of the Capitol, Thursday, regarding quality healthcare and jobs. The union is concerned with staffing cuts in Florida nursing homes and hospitals since the 2011 Legislative session. Left to Right: Healthcare workers Agnes Ferguson, Pompano Beach, and Nicole Calvaire, Miami, stand in protest with other union members to protest cuts in nursing home and hospital staffing across Florida. "Middle class families are taking a beating from these politicians," said Ferguson.  [Scott Keeler | Times]
