RNC: Obama using flimsy pretenses to raise campaign money on public's dime

From a Republican National Committe press release:

Good Afternoon – On March 10th, President Obama decided he was headed to South Florida to raise money for his campaign. Almost a month later, on April 5th, the President decided to add an official speech so that taxpayers could foot the bill for his campaign swing. Oh, by the way, they’re still not sure what the format of the event will be…priorities people…priorities…

“President Obama’s priorities during his trip to Florida accurately reflect his priorities while in office – fundraising and political grandstanding first, while the economy and jobs take a back seat. The President promised he would change Washington in 2008, but his policies have caused healthcare costs to increase, space coast workers to lose their jobs, and seniors on a fixed income to stretch their budgets. Floridians wanted to trust President Obama’s empty promises in 2008, but after seeing him break promise after promise, they won’t be fooled again in 2012.” – RNC Spokesman Matt Connelly
