The Second John Weaver Rule

More than $200,000 appeared missing from John Huntsman's political committee. The committee employed Republican-ish consultant John Weaver. The whodunnit is solved by BuzzFeed's interesting as all-getout story

And thus is born the Second John Weaver Rule: If you profit nicely by steakhorsing a wealthy longshot candidate, don't keep such shoddy records that it ultimately draws attention to the scandalous sums you earned for your blandishments.

The First John Weaver Rule: When you're the focus of so much criticism that a candidate at a nationally televised debate has to defend something you said, you've done deep harm to the person who signs your checks.
