[VIDEO] Political candidates make last-minute scramble as qualifying deadline hits

The deadline for qualifying for Florida's various political races hit at 12 noon Friday, and many aspiring candidates rushed to the Division of Elections to file last minute paperwork

Alex Diaz de la Portilla, a former state Senator, filed paperwork at the last minute to run for an open seat in the Florida House of Representatives.
