Obama super PAC steps up Bain Capital attacks on Romney

Priorities USA says it is running this spot in Florida, Iowa, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Ohio. It's all part of an effort to turn Mitt Romney's strength, his business record, into a weakness. It's the group's fifth Bain Capital ad. Here's the Romney camp response: "President Obama’s allies continue to use discredited and dishonest attacks in a contemptible effort to conceal the administration’s deplorable economic record. After 42 months of unemployment above 8 percent, it is clear that the President and his campaign do not have a rationale for reelection. He focused on health care instead of the economy, he hasn’t been able to pass a budget through Congress, he hasn’t been able to cut the deficit like he promised and he’s done little to change the way Washington works. Mitt Romney has a Plan for a Stronger Middle Class that will jumpstart the economy and bring back millions of jobs.” – Ryan Williams, Romney Campaign Spokesman

Surely, the Republicans don't think that 99% of the American people can't remember what was happening at the end of the eight years of Republican control of Congress and George W Bush. Their backward, trickle down economics, give big tax breaks to Mitt Romneys, drove America to the very brink of disaster. Had it not been for Barack Obama and a collection of the smartest people in the world, we would be stuggling in the new great deppression, instead of a slow steady recovery. And, that recovery has been hampered by the self serving, or stupid Republicans, who want to implement their mistakes from the Great Deppresion and cut jobs and spending. History teaches that a reccession is not the time to cut jobs or spending.
