Give former Rep. Rob Wallace props for perseverance.
First, he accused his District 17 state Senate opponent Rep. John Legg, R-New Port Richey, of not living in his House district, and demanded he resign. Legg ignored him.
He then filed an ethics complaint against Legg. The state's Commission on Ethics dismissed the case.
Now, on the day of the primary elections, Wallace is still determined to make an issue out of whether Legg lives full-time in his House district or with his family in his hopeful Senate district ten miles away.
"A lawyer of your stature can provide cogent statement ASAP," the ad reads.
Legg--who has the backing of Senate leadership and is widely considered to be the frontrunner--- has said he is gradually moving from his House district to his hopeful Senate district, and that the House General Counsel approved his action.
