FL Republicans take to Romney campaign trail, and to Twitter

In the final days of a tight race for the presidency, Florida’s Republican sweethearts are on the road.

Attorney General Pam Bondi, in Iowa, and Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam, in Fort Lauderdale, stumped for Presidential Challenger Mitt Romney Monday. Both post frequently to Twitter, Facebook and, even Instagram with comments and pictures about their campaign stops.

Chief Financial Officer Jeff Atwater’s Facebook shows him on a pro-Romney bus tour of the National Federation of Independent Business.
Even Gov. Rick Scott--famously absent from the presidential race--finally jumped into the fray,  cheering Romney from rallies in Lakeland and Orlando.

Bondi, among Romney’s most vocal supporters, has vouched for Romney for months, staging frequent appearances in places like New Hampshire, Virginia and Nevada.

The television media darling and frequent FOX news commentator’s twitter page is made up almost entirely of 140-character-or-less tales of her travels with the #RomneyRoadTeam. Bondi’s enthusiasm for Romney has fueled rumors she’s positioning herself for a possible role in the Romney administration.

“It's great to be in the Granite State. Lots of enthusiasm for Romney at the Women's Breakfast in Concord,” says a July 28 tweet by Bondi.

“Lots of support during our stops in Denver and Pueblo; Colorado is definitely Romney Country,” says a Sunday tweet, accompanied by a photo.

Putnam, has also stepped up his game for Romney in recent weeks. His Facebook and Twitter show him in Lakeland, Kissimmee, and Melbourne over the weekend.

On Friday, he rallied Romney voters alongside Republican Senate Candidate Connie Mack. Putnam was in Fort Lauderdale with former Gov. Jeb Bush and former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice Monday morning, according to comments and photos on Facebook.

YAWN, its not news that Republicans love to tweet about their fantasies of power. The character limit provides good cover or them from discussing issues in depth.

Dont forget there is an important Senate race coming up. And dont be fooled into thinking Bill Nelson is a moderate. There is nothing moderate about voting with your party most of the time and adding trillons to our national debt. We are now at 16 trillion. Its time for Bill Nelson to go.
