Keith Poliakoff to leave Becker Poliakoff

Keith Poliakoff is leaving the politically influential Becker Poliakoff law firm in Broward to become chair of government relations at Arnstein & Lehr law firm on Las Olas in Fort Lauderdale. He will continue to represent the town of Southwest Ranches. Poliakoff's dad Gary was one of the founding partners of his current firm.

When I saw this headline, I thought, "At last. The millstone is removed from around the neck of Southwest Ranches residents' necks."

That was too much to hope for, I guess. Keith will continue to get them to pay for frivolous lawsuits that are really being brought on behalf of CCA a billion=dollar corporation!

Poliakoff, who was formerly a partner at Becker & Poliakoff, rejoins his long time law partner, Senator Miguel Diaz de la Portilla, who will serve as his co-chair, to help oversee the firm’s vibrant local government practice.

Must be embarrassing to be run out of daddy's old firm.

Must be more to the story. A legacy is set for life. Huge risk to leave a firm where you can never be fired. History appears to be repeating itself "Ruden."
