Marco Rubio to join Jeb, Weatherford et al at MavPAC's Miami July meeting

Miami, Florida (May 21, 2013) –U.S. Senator, Marco Rubio, has confirmed his attendance as a presenter at the MavPAC annual conference occurring July 12-13 in Miami, Florida.

"I'm excited to join MavPAC for their annual conference, and in support of their mission to cultivate the future leaders of our movement," said Senator Marco Rubio. "Through MavPac, we have an opportunity to bring together young reform-minded conservatives who don't just want change, but are willing to put the work in to achieve change."

The MavPAC annual conference also includes a keynote address by former Florida Governor Jeb Bush and a presentation by the Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives, Will Weatherford, who at 33 years old is the youngest Speaker of a state house in the country. MavPAC co-chairs George P. Bush and Jay Zeidman, and Conference Chairs Slater Bayliss, Jeb Bush, Jr., and Luis Gazitua will also attend the conference.

“We’re expecting this year’s conference to be bigger and better than ever with an all-star line-up of speakers and presenters,” said Jeb Bush, Jr. “It’s exciting to see these leaders of the GOP so willing to get involved and motivate our young membership to take action.”

For the first time, MavPAC will honor members with the MavPAC 40 Under 40 Awards, which will recognize members who are deemed by their peers as leaders in the next generation of Republican politics. MavPAC members are encouraged to submit nominations through their website:
