DNC targets Marco Rubio in robocalls for second time in October

@learyreports

The DNC said today it's paying for robocalls against Sen. Marco Rubio and his role in the government shutdown. Calls also target Sens. Ted Cruz and Mike Lee. It's the second Rubio-targeting robo call in a month.

"Sen. Rubio was an architect of the strategy that shut down our government and took us to the brink of economic collapse," the recorded message states. "Marco Rubio’s shutdown cost our economy $24 billion dollars and his refusal to pay our nation’s bills  risked raising mortgage rates, crashing the stock market and even put Social Security payments at risk."

The DNC said it was launching a website, www.GOPPleaseStop.com, which will "aggregate videos, tweets, quotes and other content of Republicans who continue to support holding the economy hostage unless they can get exactly what they want."
Rubio of course never explicitly said he wanted a shutdown -- he said the opposite (and then blamed Democrats for not going along with the budget defunding Obamacare.) But that was the effect of the hard-line deal Rubio and others pushed against the warning of establishment Republicans who said it would never work.

Marco Rubio’s shutdown cost our economy $24 billion dollars and his refusal to pay our nation’s bills  risked raising mortgage rates, crashing the stock market and even put Social Security payments at risk.
And now Rubio is signaling that he’s willing to do it all again in a few months.

These DNC people are extremely inconsiderate to launch a campaign of impersonal phone calls to bother our fellow citizens. It is especially upsetting to the citizens that their favorite senator and the state's most popular politician who won his senate race by the largest margin in recent hostory would be attacked by these intruders out of state.
