Rick Scott: "we need to stand up for the people of Venezuela."

As the government in Caracas cracks down on protestors, Gov. Rick Scott is lending his voice to the SOS Venezuela movement in a new web video.

"Your heart goes out to everybody in Venezuela. We’re a country of liberty. We’re a country of freedom. They need to have the same freedoms and same liberty as we have. So our country, we need to stand up for the people of Venezuela," Scott says.

Funny, I can't remember a time when Rick Scott (as Governor or before) expressed any concern about the people of Venezuela.

To suddenly express such concern, you'd think he was running for office or something .
