The second phase of primary voting begins Monday as seven Florida counties offer two full weeks of early voting.

The biggest counties to begin early voting are Miami-Dade, Hillsborough and Palm Beach. The others are Bradford, Charlotte, Duval and Liberty.

More counties will open early voting centers Tuesday and by Saturday, all 67 counties must be providing early voting. The last day of early voting in some counties is Sunday, Aug. 26.

During early voting, voters can vote at any site in their county of residence. Dates, times and location vary by county.

Miami-Dade has 20 early voting sites. Hillsborough has 19, and they are all open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Florida's pattern of lackluster primary turnouts makes it impractical for some counties to offer more than eight days of early voting, according to some supervisors of elections.

At the same time, voting by mail is growing in popularity.

Here's the full list of all counties' early voting schedules. They are listed alphabetically by county.

Early voting has traditionally been more popular with Democratic voters, though the two parties were nearly even in the last midterm primary four years ago. Republican voters favor voting by mail.

Two years ago, in Florida's presidential election, Democrats complained that some counties did not offer enough early voting.
