If you're planning to attend one of tonight's 10 p.m. showings of the much-anticipated Snakes on a Plane, chances are good there will be a movie critic sitting nearby. New Line Cinema has done everything imaginable to promote the Samuel L. Jackson thriller - everything, that is, except screen the movie in advance for opening-day reviews.
This is almost always an indication that a movie stinks, although in the case of SoaP, which everyone wants to be awful, the no-screening decision has only stoked the curiosity factor. I'll be posting my review of the movie here later this evening. Here's hoping for the best - or should that be worst?
