"Iron Man" soars at the boxoffice
It wasn't just critics who went gaga over Iron Man. The movie grossed a whopping $104 million this weekend, proving audiences liked the film just as much as reviewers.
That opening also gets the summer movie season off to a strong start, and with all the other A-list blockbusters heading our way, I'm predicting this will be Hollywood's biggest summer season ever. Next up: The Wachowskis' Speed Racer and the Ashton Kutcher-Cameron Diaz comedy What Happens in Vegas.

Are you aware of a video store called Lion Video in Coral Gables? It's supposed to have the largest collection of foreign titles. I found out about the place yesterday night as my parents and I were driving around looking for a restaurant opened at 11 PM.

This was such an excellent movie. Good to see Marvel finally get one right again. There are a lot of potentially excellent films coming out this ummer that look like they have some quality behind them. Especially The Dark Knight, which is the one I am anticipating the most. Which one is catching your eye Rene?

Of course, the number of people who show up on opening weekend is indicative of how many people WANT to see the movie, not of whether they liked it. And definitely not indicative of whether it's any good!

Iron Man was practically flawless as a super hero flick; it drops pretty obvious hints that would indicate a sequel as well... i'm thinking the next one should be equally great
