Even Bruce Wayne has a bad day sometimes

American-psycho-02 Terminator: Salvation assistant director Bruce Franklin tells eonline.com that the Christian Bale rant that made the Internet rounds yesterday was just the result of roid rage a bad day and that Bale was otherwise a "consummate professional" on the set.

"If you are working in a very intense scene and someone takes you out of your groove ... It was the most emotional scene in the movie," Franklin told the website. "And for him to get stopped in the middle of it. He is very intensely involved in his character. He didn't walk around like that all day long. It was just a moment and it passed."

All I know is that if I ever had a "moment" like that with someone I worked with, I'm pretty sure I'd be fired on the spot. Then again, I'm not Batman.

Anyway, all the attention has ensured everyone knows about Terminator: Salvation now. And Bale's rant might even become the next dance club sensation (with a cameo by Streisand, no less).

Actors and directors yelling like nutjobs on a movie set is NOTHING new. It really isn't. From James Cameron jumping into a water tank on the set of the Abyss just to punch someone he was pissed at, or Steven Spielberg telling off Stan Winston of all people, this happens ALL THE TIME. Only difference is somebody recorded it this time. Hell, Micheal Bay is infamous for going insane on his actors, then kissing thier butts minutes later.

And if you REALLY want a show, go on youtube and look up the EXPLOSIONS between Lilly Tomlin and David O. Russell on the set of I Heart Huckabees. they make Bale look like a kitten.

And you would have been fired from your job if you were idiotic enough to walk into a shot while it was being filmed just to tweak some lights. Bale went overboard, by a good 2 minutes worth, but the guy did deserve at least a good 30 seconds worth tongue lashing. Bale just took it too far.

But hey that clip is gold. It's been the funniest hing I've heard so fa this year. Hell I like Bale even more now for making me laugh!
