Disney buys Marvel Comics

Donald The amazing Spider-Man is about to get bossed around by an angry duck, Variety reports the Walt Disney Co. will purchase Marvel Entertainment and its fabled roster of superhero characters for an estimated $4 billion in stocks and cash.

The only thing I don't like about this deal is that when people dismiss comic-book movies as kiddie stuff, now they'll be able to go one better and call them Disney kiddie stuff.
