''The Road'' gets a new release date - again

The%20Road For the umpteenth time, the Weinstein Co. has changed the release date of John Hillcoat's adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's The Road, although they are promising the new date will stick.

Variety reports the film will now open wide on Nov. 25, instead of the previously announced date of Oct. 16.

The Road already screened at the Venice Film Festival, where it generated mixed reviews, and will be shown at the Toronto Film Festival, which starts tomorrow. I don't get to go to Toronto anymore, so I will have to wait a little longer. But seriously, Weinsteins. Stop being such teases.
