I've become a HUGE fan of Nike's Most Valuable Puppets. This most recent entry of Kobe, LeBron & Santa playing hoops vs reindeer is my favorite.
Here are a few other commercials that stand out.
THE ORIGINAL SERIES: MARS BLACKMON & MJ
MJ FAILURE COMMERCIAL:
THE REDEEM TEAM (Marvin Gaye singing anthem):
Michael Jordan "Frozen Moment" Nike Commercial:
Finally, who can forget, "LIL PENNY?"

Found this on my preferred sports blog SportsByBrooks.com:
El Tigre just can't catch a break.
He's been on the cover of the NY Post for 19 straight days.
How much longer can this last?
At any point have you or will you feel sorry for him?

These were Nick Satan's quotes from his presser today.
"I'm not worried about winning the national championship and I don't want our players to worry about it either," Saban shot back at a reporter Monday. "I would appreciate it if you didn't ask them although I know you will.
"What I want our players to focus on is playing our best football and assume they're going to be playing against the best football team they've ever played."
God, this man is always unbearable.
I'm not a Texas fan by any stretch of the imagination. Though, I certainly know who I'll be rooting for in this game.

From ESPN's Jayson Stark (who will be on my show on 790 The Ticket tomorrow at 9:30am):
We told you that the Yankees have acquired Javier Vazquez and Boone Logan from the Braves for Melky Cabrera, Mike Dunn and prospect Arodys Vizcaino.
ESPN.com's Jayson Stark is hearing that Jason Bay is too pricey for the Braves and emailed this analysis: "Let's characterize the Braves' next move this way: The Vazquez deal frees up about $9 million for the Braves to spend on upgrading their offense -- Vazquez's $11.5-million salary and the half-million in cash they'll get from the Yankees, minus the $3 million or so Cabrera will make via arbitration. They'll now look to use that surplus on an outfield bat, a first baseman or possibly both.
"Johnny Damon is one possibility, particularly because his home in Orlando is within minutes of the Braves' spring-training complex. Another option is free agent Xavier Nady, who could play first or the outfield and would come at a relatively low base because he is recovering from his second Tommy John surgery.
"Or the Braves could look to deal an outfielder -- either Cabrera or possibly Jordan Schafer -- for a bat. They've been linked in trade rumors to Florida's Dan Uggla, who could potentially slide to first base."

Bob Costas and Al Michaels must be calling their agents right now...
Do you blame him? Don't lie if you could, you would too.

- The officials didn't lose that game for the Dolphins. Turnovers did.
- Chad Henne will be fine. We have been spoiled recently b/c guys like Flacco, Ryan & Roethlisberger all had instant success. People forget John Elway lined up behind the GUARD once as a youngster.
- Gibril Wilson is the worst safety, I've ever seen play the game of football. Worst is when he gets burned, he looks to chastise the young guys as if it was not his fault.
- Vontae Davis will also be fine. Though, I do wonder why it seems teams are picking on him?
- Vernon Carey may need to sit a game. He was beat badly on Sunday. His back injury is serious enough that he is having trouble walking.
- Bill Parcell always says, 'If he doesn't bite as a puppy, he won't bite' -- saying if a young guy doesn't do something right away he might not ever,'
- Brian Hartline is biting. Meanwhile, Ted Ginn is whimpering.
