Jerry West says NBA should contract teams

I agree with him. I think the talent is diluted and that fans are not getting their money's worth around the league.

Based on the NBA attendance figures and financial considerations I've come up with my own contraction plan.

I would contract 6 teams...

EAST: Charlotte, NJ
WEST: Sacramento, New Orleans, Memphis, Minnesota

I would move Milwaukee to the West.

My NEW NBA would look like this...

EAST:

Atlantic - Bos, Tor, NYK, Philly

Central - Cleve, Chi, Indy, Det

Southeast - Mia, Orl, Wash, Atl

WEST:

Northwest - Den, Utah, Por, Mil

Pacific - LAL, LAC, GS, Phx

Southwest - Okla, Sa, Dal, Hou
