The Dolphins did the right thing here.
They made up for their callous treatment of Zach the first time around (by not letting him hold a presser).
I know many will argue what he means to this organization. I for one, feel his name should go up in the Ring of Honor and his number should be retired.
I would make the case, he's the most liked Dolphin since Marino.
If I had a HOF vote I'd lobby for him as well. He may not have the rings, but has the credentials, in my opinion.

Armando asked what the favorite Zach moment was in his blog. I'll just respond with the hit on Shawn Jefferson in his first game. It made an impression I'll never forget.
Zach,
You are a true professional, and I wish you the best of luck. Thanks for all the memories and for giving us something to cheer about on Sundays.

Jorge,
I agree... Hall of Fame indeed! I also agree that they should retire his number and put him in the Ring of Honor sometime soon. This guy gave EVERYTHING he had out on the field, so much so that now if he even hits the pillow to hard at night ((concussion)) sad, but true. This guy was a human wrecking ball that threw caution to the wind and has made myself and many others proud to be Dolphin fans! When you mention the Miami Dolphins, you immediatly think of think of are Don Shula, 72 Undefeated Team, Dan Marino and Zach Thomas. Thank you Zach for everything you've done for us for all these years on and off the field!
