That's what Knicks Center Eddy Curry told the New York Daily News when asked if he sabotaged the New Yorks chances of landing Lebron James in free agency.
Suspicions arose because Curry and James had two get-togethers in Akron while LeBron was deciding his future.
The conspiracy theory was that Curry spoke negatively about the organization, and specifically bashed Head Coach Mike D'Antoni.
"Why would I do that?" Curry asked the Daily News. "Anybody who thinks that is wrong. That did not happen.
"He didn't ask me about the Knicks, New York or any other team. We hung out together. We worked out and that was it."
"A lot of us didn't know," Curry said. "He was pretty good at keeping a secret."
Most people believe this plan of the Big 3 was conceived back in Beijing.
I still think it's funny/ironic that the Knicks would be such a lousy organization, that a guy who's only played 10 games in the last 2 years (who's also collecting 11 million dollars a year) could have possibly led Lebron into Pat Riley's arms.
