Miami tech entrepreneur launches itopia

Itopia-logoMiami technology entrepreneur Jonathan Lieberman has launched a cloud computing venture, itopia.

The Miami-based company aims to simplify the way companies purchase, utilize and maintain their systems and equipment, reducing the costs related to traditional office IT infrastructures.

To launch itopia, Lieberman, the president and CEO, has raised more than $1 million in an initial round of funding. itopia's CTO is Marc Billings and board members and investors include Sherrill Hudson of TECO Energy, David Hernandez of Liberty Power and others.
