Pinterest business accounts are here -- and have you created your 'Secret Board'?

Since Pinterest’s inception, businesses have been utilizing the social network to promote their services and “pin” relevant photos, images and videos to their business pinboards. Until now, however, there hasn’t been a distinction between personal accounts and company/business accounts.

The big moment has finally arrived, and we’re happy to say that making the transition from a personal page to a business page is a piece of cake. Now that the official business pages are here, check out these top tips on how to build your brand on the hot social site.

And while you’re creating your boards, don’t forget Pinterest’s latest secret…

Okay, so maybe the cat is already out of the bag regarding Pinterest’s “Secret Boards,” but what do these boards mean for your Pinterest account?

“Secret Boards” are one of Pinterest’s latest improvements to the hot social site, enabling users to create boards that only they (and whomever they invite) can see and pin to. Learn more about this new feature via Mashable here.

Some ideas for your “Secret Boards:” ideas for new company products, inspiration for story boards and other advertising concepts, brainstorming with coworkers about marketing strategy or design inspiration and much more.
