Boca's MobileHelp exhibiting 2 new products at CES

    Who will be at CES?

MastheadMobileHelp, a Boca Raton company that specializes in M-PERS or Mobile-Personal Emergency Response System technology, is unveiling two products at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this week. The company will be exhibiting  myHalo, a wearable “Auto Fall Detect Pendant,” and a MobileHelp Cellular Base Station at CES Show Booth: 26922 at the Las Vegas Convention Center Jan. 8-11.

The myHalo Auto Fall Detect Pendant is designed to alert a central monitoring station by transmitting a wireless message indicating a fall without the user having to push a button or speak and is compatible with MobileHelp's Mobile Personal Emergency Response System.   “Seniors who fall can't always reach a panic button, but this new feature means they don't have to; we foresee this innovative technology resulting in a greater likelihood of saving lives,” says Chris Otto, vice president of product development. According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, falls account for 70 percent of accidental deaths in the elderly population.

The company says its new MobileHelp Cellular Base Station is the easiest to install mobile caregiving alert system on the market.

MobileHelp, whose chairman is Boca serial entrepreneur Scott H. Adams, also developed and distributes products such as the DUO, the first fully integrated medical alert system with GSM/GPS technology, SOLO, an alert solution for people without home telephone lines and Classic Help, a traditional Medical Alert System

Any other South Florida companies exhibiting at the CES?
