DeliverLean opening office and kitchen in Hialeah

DeliverLean, a delivery service for healthy meals, is establishing a new office and kitchen in Miami-Dade County that will lead to 135 direct jobs and $500,000 in capital investment within three years, the Beacon Council said Thursday.

DeliverLean, which launched in 2011 in Boca Raton, is opening an office and kitchen in an Enterprise Zone located in Hialeah, an area with policies that encourage economic growth and development, to meet the needs of its growing client base. It will be eligible for tax credits based on hiring in the Enterprise Zone and sales tax refunds on equipment.

The Beacon Council assisted the fast-growing company with Enterprise/Empowerment Zone research and marketing analysis, business contacts and referrals and general community information. DeliverLean, one of the winners in the 2013 Miami Herald Business Plan Challenge, produces a line of organic, cold-pressed juices called OnJuice in addtion to its extensive line of healthy meal options.
