OK. Maybe I did too much partying at Aqua Girl. Because there I was finally chilling, watching the Sopranos, when all of a sudden I swear I saw Carmen. Doing Tony. And I mean, she was doing all the work. (Which is a good thing because we probably wouldn't have seen too much of her if she had been under all that crime boss.) But that's not all. They were getting stoned together. And tripping on peyote together. Shane, that coulda been you. But you know what? Best to keep your narrow ass away at this juncture. You know what happens to peeps who mess with Tony (Yo, Christopha.) We have spent a year clamoring for Sarah Shahi and this is finally where she pops up? Well, good for Sarah Shahi. Not so good for our delicate eyes.

Lydia, I don't understand your post. Are claiming it was the real Sarah Shahi that you saw....or a lookalike? I really hope you are mistaken about it being the real-life Sarah.
PS And if you're not right about it, and she can substantiate that...isn't that a possible legal issue? Just askin.
I didn't get to go to this party because I had to work and I wish I couldav gone (no, I wouldn't have done any "illegal stuff.")

Lydia was talking about Sarah's appearance on the latest episode of The Soprano Show. She played a stripper working her way through school and she had sex with Tony in the show. Tony Saprano is... EWWW. Kudos to Sarah for pulling the scene off though. She's definitely a pro.
And yeah maybe good for Sarah but VERY BAD for our eyes. :S

Concerning Sarah Shahi on "The Sopranos," mentioned above via Rhine's posting on May 14th:
Well, that performance is not credited in SS's "filmography" under TV appearances. Perhaps the information doesn't update regularly enough, or she wasn't all that happy to publicize the 'role.'
So it goes to show that people who don't subscribe to HBO or Showtime are 'out in left field' when it somes to pop culture and 'must see TV.'
I haven't checked YouTube for SS lately, maybe it can be found over there or on MySpace.
The photos of Aqua Girl were intriguing; I guess all of the girls photos were if not 100 full-time Gay, then at least available-for-gay-playdates. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?
What happens to Gay women who aren't into the booze/drugs/hedonism lifestyle? (Oh, I know: women's golf. That sounds good to me, except that its so freakin hot&humid outside all of the time. And golf is expensive. Like really expensive.)

PS I think that "working your way through school by being a stripper," is a ridiculous cliche, but I still would have liked to see Sarah Shahi "do" Tony anyway.
Sarah Shahi is not all that great as a straight actress (check out her tiny role in the movie, "Old School." Anything remarkable there? No, just an attractive brunette reading some lines. Pretty much the same as her roles on the TV show "Teachers" and "Sleeper Cell"
She is compelling (to the MAxxx)when engaged in conversation/interaction with another person: with Kate, or Mia.....when she is allowed to be beautiful, kind, loving, alluring, sexy, funny. When her beautiful smile radiates the universe.......destroying all lesser life-forms.
F**cking Tony Soprano would be amusing to watch if nothing else. F*ck*ng "Dean" Porter? No, I don't think so -- that would be gut-churning.

I totally get what you mean bout not bein as good as a straight actress. An im not sayin this cause im a crazy gay fan beggin one day she will see the light an change sides an marry me, cause im straight as they come. But if you watch any scene with her on the l word she is amazin in the role. You watch her in teachers ect an even though her acting skills are amazing, when shes kissing men theres no spark there, no belivability. Why I dunno its just the way I see it its like she looks better gay than straight.

All I know is that her scenes with "Shane" are totally convincing.
It made me wonder how much is 'real' and how much is 'just business.' Is "Kate" really "Shane" and vice versa? Where does one stop and the other end?
All the pix I've seen of Katherine Moennig in her "off hours" (including her podcasts with Leisha Hailey on OurChart.com) ......don't show 10-cents worth of difference between Kate as 'real life' and the L Word character she portrays.
If I could speak to the real life Sarah Shahi I would love to ask her what the deal was there.....and does it bug her that the love she shows "Shane" seems 'for real."
Nevertheless, I would still like to see future episodes of "The L Word" in which Sarah is the 'Alpha" female.....there was way too much "Shane on Top" in those previous episodes. (You know-- the ones we watch obsessively on YouTube).
I really liked that scene in the bar where SS tilts the Panama Hat she was wearing as she leans in to kiss "Jenny."
I bet in real-life SS is totally "On Top" ....at least 99% of the time
But who would know this? Who could we bribe to Spill the Beans? Where is Bob Woodward when we need him? We need some Watergate-style undercover reporting to ferret out this whole matter.
Does she dish to her anyone? (Probably not)
I would bet anything that Leisha Hailey knows, that Mia Kirschner knows and I would bet my last dollar that Jennifer Beals knows, (casting couch style).
See what happens when there are no actual L word episodes to watch?
Just rumor, innuendo, speculation........
(wishing...hoping...)

Sarah shahi is not gay!! She's as good as an actress gay or straight and i find it disturbing that so many gay women believe she is gay. Give the girl a break for christ sake. She's hot, sexy and great let's just leave it at that!!! I love women but i don,t believe everyone is gay!!
