Inside US team practice...

Just home from US practice at FIU...they trained on turf to prepare for Saprissa Stadium in Costa Rica. Was really hot! 14 guys trained, seven flying in from all over the world after weekend matches including Tim Howard from England, Carlos Bocanegra from France, DaMarcus Beasley from Scotland, Landon Donovan from LA, Danny Califf from Denmark...Freddy Adu was insightful about his tough season on loan with Monaco, saying, among other things: "People forget I'm only 19 because I've been around so long.'' He also said he has put on "8 pounds of muscle'' in the past 2 months -- from 142 lbs to 150 lbs and his goal is 155-160. "I need to get stronger on the ball. Those are big guys out there.''
