We're all about helping out our friends at Total Futbol, so when college buddy and local sports radio host Damon Amendolara needed an extra set of hands at his free soccer camp Saturday, you know we were there.
Great event, even with the monsoon that blew through.
Miami FC showed up in a big way, with current and past players Walter Ramirez, Reinier Alcantara, Nicky Torres, Danny Vasquez and Eric Vasquez dropping some knowledge on the two dozen or so kiddos at Rooftop Soccer in Brickell.
Special kudos to D.A. and FC PR dude Ignacio Rodriguez for pulling it all together.
Here are some pics from the event.

Seems like a cool even! Nice to see DA, Miami FC, and all others who put the event together connecting with the community in this type of way.

A big thanks to D.A., Adam, & Ignacio for putting this together for the kids. We had a great time meeting the Miami FC players that graciously gave their time and came to the camp to play with the kids. Although it rained like crazy the kids still had a great time and when it stopped raining they had a blast playing with D.A. and Ignacio on the field with 2 inches of water on it. Can't forget thanking the folks at Rooftop Soccer on Brickell, what a great place to play soccer and have fun. I'm, scheduling my kids next B-Day party at this place.

Nice work guys, the camp was great. My son, Gabriel, LOVED it. He is now demanding that I put him another soccer camp.
So...when is the next one?
