Miami FC's playoff hopes continue to take a beating, as the Blues fell to first-place Portland 3-1 late Saturday night.
Trailing for most of the match, the Blues tied things in the 77th minute when Tim Merritt scored off a set piece. However, the Timbers, who haven't lost since the first game of the season, scored twice in the last 13 minutes.
No rest for the road weary, however. The Blues took a bus overnight to Vancouver, where they'll face the Whitecaps Sunday in a game that will go a long way in determining who makes the postseason, and who gets left out. Vancouver is currently in seventh place and would be the last team in if the season ended today. The Blues are three points back, although they have played one fewer game.

Miami FC stinks. No wonder fans don't go to the games. Get us MLS. We want to see real pro players and what Miami FC is trying to feed us. We fans deserve better. 0-2 on the road this week. Playoff what playoff! BRING MLS!!!

Back to back losses to Port & Vanc will seal the Blues fate of another playoff-less season, shame they could not get over the hump this season. I will still support the team when they return to Miami.
No more stupid shaving promotions are needed, a talent upgrade will suffice. Watching the look of emberassment on Zinho's face as the one time Brazilian WC Champ filmed the head shaving promo speaks for itself. Upgrade the team, compete in the top 3rd of USL1 and folks will want to support the team.

Go to MLS it what the fans want. Miami FC stinks every year. Traffic got the money stop with the bad player. go to MLS and bring in top players. FIU is the right stadium that will be full of fans if you go to MLS.
