Got this note from owner of Mickey Byrnes Irish Pub in Hollywood (1921 Hollywood Blvd.) asking to include them on list of places to watch World Cup. Included this note:
"Because we are an Irish bar owned and operated by Irish people, we still are a little fragile regarding the dubious qualification of the French so we will be offering free shots to all customers every time a goal is scored against France...to help lessen our pain!"
Sounds like a great place to catch a France match! June 11 vs. Uruguay (2:30 p.m.), June 17 vs. Mexico (2:30 p.m.), June 22 vs. South Africa (10 a.m.)
By the way, all World Cup matches will be televised at 7:30 a.m., 10 a.m. or 2:30 p.m.
